Every Saturday morning the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market surrounds the Ferry Building (1898). It is a veritable feast of fresh produce, often organic, from local farms.
The Fall bouquets were exquisite.
We hear the sound of potatoes frying -- imagine the aroma.
They are singing a Pogues song: Dirty Old Town.

We're long back. We're just working through the 700 pictures we came home with. We'll be putting up San Fran pics for another month or so I think. We'd love to see youse.
